To replace canned black beans with dried: place 10 oz rinsed black beans and 30 oz water into mixing bowl, place simmering basket onto mixing bowl lid and cook 60 min/212°F/speed 1 . Remove simmering basket and set aside. Drain before using in recipe.
For a more textured soup, decrease blending time in step 4, or omit blending altogether.
