The Blue Hawaii is a cocktail created in 1957 by the bartender of the Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii. The classic presentation is to pour it over ice cubes (on the rocks), although it is also served with crushed ice, like the margarita. It is a cocktail for hot weather.
