Refreshing and fragrant, homemade elderflower cordial is so much better and more pleasing than anything you can buy in the shops. The elderflower season is short, and falls in early summer, but makes a great excuse for long walks spent collecting flowers.
Thanks to Thermomix® it’s easier than ever to make your own nut milks. The powerful blending results in richly flavoured milk, in this case almond, although the method works equally well for other nut varieties.
If you prefer, you can replace the fresh turmeric with fresh ginger.
This smoothie will keep in the refrigerator for 1 day. Be sure to thoroughly mix before serving ( 5-10 sec/speed 8 ).

For easy blending, freeze strawberries as individual pieces; quarter strawberries then spread out pieces on a tray and freeze. Once frozen, use frozen fruit in recipe or transfer to a freezer bag for later use.

Store wet chai in a sealable container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, but no longer than the expiration date of your ingredients.
